God
We believe in one God, maker of all things, consisting of the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. (II Corinthians 13:14; Matthew 28: 18,19)
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary, and is true God and true man and revealed God's plan to redeem man. That Jesus Christ, the Word of God become flesh. He is the Savior of the world, who has delivered us from the dominion of sin and reconciled us to God by his death on a cross. He was declared to be Son of God by his resurrection from the dead. He is the head of the church, the exalted Lord, the Lamb who was slain, coming again to reign with God in glory. (John 1:1,2, 14, 18; Luke 1:35; Galatians 4:4-5; Ephesians 1:7; John 3:14-18; Galatians 3;13-14; Romans 5;3-10; Luke 24;1-3, 25-34; Matthew 28: 5-7,9,10,16,17; I Corinthians 15)
Holy Spirit
We believe in the person of the Holy Spirit, that He is a divine person, possessing all the characteristics and nature of the Trinity, and that He is, in essence, equally God and that He gives to the Church gifts for spiritual governing, direction, insight and for the edification of the Body of Christ. He is the eternal Spirit of God, who is poured out on those who believe as the guarantee of redemption. We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and the gifts as stated in God's Word to be endued with power to be witnesses for Jesus Christ. (Acts 5: 3,4; I Corinthians 12:13,14; Romans 12:4-8; Ephesians 5:18)
Holy Bible
We believe that Bible is the Word of God. It is the supreme and final authority in all manners of faith and practice. That all Scripture is inspired by God through the Holy Spirit for instruction in salvation and training in righteousness. We accept the Scriptures as the Word of God and as the fully reliable and trustworthy standard for Christian faith and life. (II Timothy 3:16,17; II Peter 1:20.21; Jude 3
Salvation
We believe that Salvation is a gift of God brought to man through repentance, and by personal faith in Jesus Christ. That God offers salvation from sin and a new way of life. That we receive God's salvation when we repent and accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. In Christ, we are reconciled with God and brought into the reconciliation, to follow Christ and to know the fullness of salvation.(John 3:16-18; Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:23; Romans 5; Romans 6:23; Romans 8:14-16; Romans 10: 9,10; Ephesians 2: 8,9; Philippians 3:4-9; Titus 3;5; I Peter 1:18,19)
The Church
We believe that the church is the assembly of those who have accepted God's offer of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. We believe that the mission of the Church is to proclaim the kingdom of God. That Christ has commissioned the Church to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, and teaching them to observe all things he has commanded. Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 8:35-38
Water Baptism
We believe that water baptism is for believers (submersion) as a sign of their cleansing from sin. Baptism is also a pledge before the Church and others of their covenant with God to walk in the way of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Communion
We believe that the Lord's Supper is a sign by which the Church thankfully remembers the new covenant which Jesus established by this death. In this communion, the Church renews its covenant with God and with each other and participates in the life and death of Jesus Christ, until he comes. I Cor. 11: 23-26
Ministry
We believe that ministry is a continuation of the work of Christ, who gives gifts through the Holy Spirit to believers and empowers them for service in the church and in the world. We also believe that God calls particular persons in the church to specific leadership ministries and offices. All who minister are accountable to God and to the community of faith. (Ephesians 5)
Unity
We believe that the church of Jesus Christ is one body with many members, ordered in such a way that, through the one Spirit, believers may be built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God.(Psalms 133:1; Ephesians 4:3; I Corinthians 3:9 I; Corinthians 12)
Discipleship
We believe that Jesus Christ calls us to discipleship, to take up our cross and follow him. Through the gift of God's saving grace, we are empowered to be disciples of Jesus, filled with his Spirit, following his teachings and his path through suffering to new life. As we are faithful to his way, we become conformed to Christ and separated from the evil in the world. We believe that to be a disciple of Jesus is to know life in the Spirit. As the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ takes shape in us, we grow in the image of Christ and in our relationship with God. The Holy Spirit is active in individual and in communal worship, leading us deeper into the experience of God.(Luke 14:26; John 8:31; 15:8; II Timothy).
Stewardship
Scriptural giving is one of the fundamentals of the faith.
We believe that everything belongs to God, who calls the church to live in faithful stewardship of all that God has entrusted to us, being faithful and to participate cheerfully from the heart. Malachi 3:8-11; I Corinthians 16:2; II Corinthians 8: 7; 9:7; Luke 12:42; II Corinthians 6:1; Titus 1:7; I Peter 4;10; Matthew 23: 23.
Restoration / Reconcilation
We believe in the Ministry of Reconciliation (To Restore) individuals, to help bring them back into a relationship and fellowship with God. We believe that in this ministry as His disciples we are to walk and act according to His Word so as that others will see and believe (II Corinthians 5: 16-18; Galatians 6;1-2; I Corinthians 13; Colossians 3; Philippians).
Christians Hope
We believe that the Christians hope is the imminent personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; II Timothy 4;8; Philippians 3:20,21; I John 3:2) We believe that He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead. He will gather his church, which is already living under the reign of God. We await God's final victory, the end of this present age of struggle, the resurrection of the dead, and a new heaven and a new earth. There the people of God will reign with Christ in justice, righteousness, and peace for ever and ever. (I Thessalonians 4:13-18; II Timothy 4:8; Philippians 3:20,21; I John 3:2; Hebrews 6:2; 9:27; I Corinthians 5:1;John 14:1-6; II Corinthians 5:10; Hebrews 9:10; Romans 14:10,12; II Peter 2:4; )
Christian Lifestyle
We believe that it is the responsibility of believers to be witnesses by their lifestyle and that the Word of God is the measuring rod, that the Christian is to hold to the truth of Scriptures, and to seek to proclaim the Gospel to all mankind. (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15; Acts 1;3; Romans 10:11-17; Colossians 3; Philippians 2; Ephesians 4)
